L’Istituto Luce was primarily a propaganda institute for the Fascist Regime in Italy. It is still a source of great footage of a time in which the people were shown what the Government wanted them to see. Therefore photos and footage of that era are very useful for our contemporary understanding of the role of the Media in our World Societies and Nations.
