This book examines the work of one of the greatest of Venetian artists. Paolo Caliari (Veronese) was born in Verona in 1528. He lived till 1588. In the intervening years he made a name for himself with works that epitomized the decorative, colorist tradition in Renaissance Venice. Ideal present for an emerging artist painter.
